Sunrise, Sunset
Crimson sunrise:
A bittersweet beauty as I gaze at the horizon
Knowing well that beauty will become uncertainty;
A storm brings forth the reign of dissention.
No surprise!
The lanterns are blown out with the wind,
No hope shone as doom becomes our reality.
Society
Tells us to leave it be:
"You're just paranoid -- watch and see!"
Will we mourn in ashes as greed overtakes
The once-grand design and dances on its grave?
We'll have no excuse for idleness once the beast wakes.
The time is now, to save what's left to save;
Anchor the remainder before this earth shakes!
Crimson sunset:
A cross-driven future portrays hope for tired eyes,
(The) Weary and weak will become restored and mighty.
I will take up these wings of faith: leap and fly,
Hope complete!
I wake to know the fate of tomorrow:
Standing on the rock, for all earth to see,
A glistening reminder of what Love did for me --
Pouring out His blood, crimson-staining that tree...
