"Jesus wept." - The shortest verse in the Bible, but also a rather significant one. That verse alone displays the humanity in Jesus while He was on earth. He IS the '200% being', not half-man nor demigod. He is 100% man, 100% God.
Being 100% God, He knew everything before 'everything' existed. He is the tri-omni: omnipotent (all-powerful), omniscient (all-knowing), omnipresent (ever-present). He has the power to hold back the floods of life, has the knowledge of what is best for you, and He's always there to know what you're going through.
To further cement His divinity, He showed us His being in humanity. He did it not only so He could give us eternal life through His death and resurrection, but He also did it to prove that He DOES know what we go through in life. He experienced sorrow, pain, and temptation stronger than any of us have ever experienced. We can't say "How can He ask us to be faithful in a time where sin, pain, and sadness reign, when He doesn't know what we're going through?", because He DOES know what we're going through, and will carry us through it all. All He asks in return is that we give our trust to Him and let Him do what He does best - care for us in ways we can't imagine.
