Living as Christlike royalty isn't about living with your nose high in the air, in arrogance, ordering people around for your own selfish desires. Living like Christlike royalty means that we should be AWARE of what we are and what our inheritance is, but TRUE royalty should really be humble, loving, and caring. So basically, we should be aware of these things:
1. We're heirs of God, co-heirs with Christ (With CHRIST Himself, who was exalted above all creation for His obedience to the Father's will), and what we do on this earth matters for the eternity of ourselves as well as the eternity of others. We're destined to inherit the UNIVERSE for eternity with Christ if we obey God's will, which is to love others, live in humility, and to try to bring as many to our King as we can. The more we do God's will on earth means the more of that inheritance we'll receive.
2. We're God's most treasured possessions. We're children of God, the Bride of Christ. The Christians will be closer to Jesus Christ than the best married couples on earth ever could be. We will be united with Christ for eternity, and will reign and judge with Him. Once again, the magnitude of our authority and power will depend on how much we follow God's will on earth and serve Him.
3. We will NEVER be condemned. The Bible tells us that there is no condemnation for those who are in Jesus Christ. This means that the only judgement we will come under is the judgement of our works for God. When that day comes, when Jesus comes to take His church (all Christians - not just some specific denomination or building) home, we will come to the throne, and Jesus will give us our long-awaited rewards based upon what we do for Him.
That all being said, that's not to say that all of us must jump out of bed and go witnessing on street corners (though some might feel called to this). Love and peace in a dark and cold world can be just as strong of a witnessing technique as physically telling the Gospel. Just share the Gospel with those you're around, and live as the Bible tells you to. Listen to God - when you feel those ever-so-slight nudges, or feel as God is leading you to something, don't resist Him! Always pray, and do what you feel God wants you to do. This is just as much of being a servant for Him as it is to go out and witness.
In the words of the Christian band, Theocracy, "Starving the new, keeps the old man alive." If we starve our souls of God's Word, we're keeping our old sinful self alive. Satan and his demons can thrive off of insecurity, fear, distrust, and sin itself. That's why we should feed our souls with the Fruit of the Spirit and arm ourselves with the Armour of God, so that we can take the fight to Satan.
When we pray against Satan, we are fighting an invisible battle in a war that is more important than any other in the history of mankind. We, along with the angels, are keeping Satan's forces at bay. So NEVER let anyone convince you that you aren't important. I know this feeling - during a hard period of my life, Satan tried attacking me at my point of my faith. He tried convincing me that I was unimportant, that I wasn't a good Christian, and that I was such a tiny speck on the timeline that is history with no real purpose. But God countered these lies and showed that He has a plan for every one of His children that makes an enormous impact on eternity.
God bless you all, and I hope you like this page and the future posts I make!
